Tony McGaughey is a Managing Advisor with Ampirix, an Atlanta-based management consulting firm, where he focuses primarily on email and social media marketing services. In this capacity, Tony has developed a particular focus on LinkedIn and its use as a lead generation source.

Tony is a native of Atlanta and received his undergraduate degree in History from Georgia State University in 1990. Having worked at United Parcel Service during college, Tony spent the next 5 years with them rising to the position of Delivery Information Manager for the Georgia District. He has spent the last 17 years working in technology consulting in various capacities from marketing to product management. Over the last five years he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for ARC (NYSE: ARC), an international construction data services firm where he was responsible for all email and social media marketing in addition to launching the new company website.

Spotlight on Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce

On November 12, 2012, co-hosts Stone Payton and Lee Kantor broadcast a special edition of BusinessRadioX®’s High Velocity Radio to spotlight the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce. Executive Director Debbie Fuse introduced Karen Cannon from Karen Cannon Realtors to talk about their partnership through the Chamber.

Debbie Fuse is the Executive Director of the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce. Debbie’s background was in sales management, and sales to the construction industry. Prior to that, she held positions in management in the hotel and restaurant industry. She led highly successful sales teams in the Southeast – from 11-28 sales reps with each position – and requirements of traveling up to 80% of her time. After two downsizings, she decided to redirect her focus locally and work within the community where she lives. She’s been in Dunwoody for 14 years after moving from the Baltimore area.

Ryan Goldstein is a Commercial Real Estate Broker specializing in office leasing and sales. Before the founding of RG Real Estate, Ryan was a Vice President in the brokerage division of Ackerman & Co. He brings 12 years of commercial leasing and sales experience focusing on tenant and owner representation.

Dwight Willis is an HR/Employee Relations Specialist known for his determined and unyielding advocacy for employees within the mental health sector. Due to the demands and conditions that most mental health and social service employees experience, Dwight has focused the majority of his work experience being a hands-on leader, developing employee wellness initiatives, coaching and counseling employees regarding work and personal issues, and assisting leaders to understand the benefits of positive employee-employer relationships. With the skills and experiences that Dwight has under his belt, developing and pursuing Trinity Training Center has been a persistent goal of his. Trinity Training will, in essence, encompass all of his talents including event coordination, management, interviewing, graphic design, as well as an understanding of current trends of mental health and the needs of clinicians throughout the state.

Nikki Turpeaux/Archangel Tactical

Nikke Turpeaux is the Owner and Director of Women’s Programs with Archangel Tactical. Nikki is a native Texan, having grown up in Houston, Texas and graduating from the University of Houston. In 1995, Nikki represented the City of Houston, as Ms. Houston and was a Top Ten Finalist for Ms. Texas, in the Ms. America Scholarship Pageant. Following her graduation from college, Nikki had a successful career in the fields of Insurance and Premium Finance, and relocated to Atlanta.

After taking an Introduction to Handguns course at a local range in 2010, Nikki found a new passion and continued to develop her skill and knowledge of firearms. Since 2010, Nikki has attended various training courses, to include the world renowned Roger’s Shooting School in Ellijay, Ga., where she was the first female to shoot a perfect score in the school’s challenging Urban Rifle Course. In 2011, Nikki decided to leave Corporate America and founded Archangel Tactical. Since then, Nikki has trained hundreds of men and women, created the Get a G.R.I.PTM Ladies Personal Defense System, as well as, participating in numerous IDPA, 3 Gun and Tactical matches. Last year she was asked to film the first Women’s Concealed Carry Instructional DVD for the Personal Defense Network. She will be featured in an article in Combat Handguns Magazine in March of 2013 & will also be interviewed by the European Media about her Women’s GRIP Program later this month.

Atlanta Dames include chefs, restaurateurs, caterers, retailers, event planners, cookbook authors, food journalists and historians, winemakers and wine industry professionals, food publicists, culinary educators and hospitality executives. Atlanta was founded in 1996 and is one of the 28 International Chapters.

Michael Wall/Georgia Organics

Michael Wall, a seventh-generation Georgian, has been the communication director atGeorgia Organics since December 2008. He has previously served in public relations as the Atlanta Regional Commission and Georgia State University. Before that, he worked as a reporter for Creative Loafing, the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Virgin Islands Daily News, and the Morgan County Citizen. He’s won awards from the Society for Professional Journalists and the American City Business Journals for business and environmental reporting.

Les Dames d’Escoffier and Georgia Organics have been partners in what is called the “good food movement” for more than a decade. Les Dames’ support has been vital in the work Georgia Organics undertakes to increase the number of organic farmers, the number of consumers eating organic, local food, and the number of children participating in farm to school programs.

Marie Nygren is the Owner and Head Chef of The Farmhouse Restaurant.  The Farmhouse, located in the Inn at Serenbe, has received much critical acclaim, including a glowing review in the New York Times, for its farm-to-table approach—serving beloved recipes made with farm-fresh organic ingredients grown just steps away. Sue Anne Morgan is with ideaLand, producer of Serenbe Afternoon in the Country.  The elite Afternoon in the Country event is in its 12th year as a much-anticipated fall food and wine tasting fundraiser. It includes inspired tastings by 85 of the area’s renowned culinary artists, paired with local farmers, and joined by top winemakers and brewers under festive big-top tents with live music, the famous cake raffle, huge silent auction and children’s activities. Proceeds benefit Georgia Organics, Wholesome Wave and the scholarship fund for women in the culinary, beverage and hospitality arts. The event is hosted by Atlanta Les Dames d’Escoffier International and is held at Serenbe.

Arthur Fessenden has been in the Atlanta area as a travel consultant for over 30 years. His company is named The Art of Cruising. He has also had the experience of traveling to over 110 countries and all 50 states. Arthur has owned two successful travel agencies in the last 30 years. Travel Made Easy was formed in 1984. The Art of Cruising is affiliated with the largest cruise agency in North America. The Art of Cruising books many groups including family, religious, business incentives, and of course, friends’ groups.
