Carolyn Wright is co-owner of The LONA Gallery. The LONA Gallery is located in Historic Downtown Lawrenceville where it is a showcase for original art by local artists, and unique handcrafted gifts including pottery, wood-crafts, fabric arts and jewelry.

LONA Gallery opened in April of 2010 in a small (550 square foot) space nestled between two restaurants. In November of 2012, LONA moved to its present location (a 2400 square foot facility) on the opposite end of the block, at 176 W. Crogan Street. Since the move to a larger location, LONA has been able to offer classes for both children and adults (drawing, painting and arts & craft workshops). Through a partnership with Faux Effects International, LONA is hosting faux painting workshops taught by local artist and faux painting specialist Bridgit Taylor. The gallery offers custom framing services and is an elegant venue for private events such as intimate weddings, receptions, meetings, book signings, birthday parties and anniversary celebrations.

For the owners (Carolyn Wright & Sylvia Culberson), opening an art gallery was a natural progression due to their enduring interest in the arts in all its forms. The gallery has an eclectic mix of art styles to suit many tastes. Prices vary widely ($40 to $5,000). Each visitor here will know that they can indeed afford a unique piece of original art. For more information about The LONA Gallery, visit their website.
